Sky events calendar
Every eclipse, meteor shower peak and planet at opposition for the next two years, each with a countdown, where to see it and a reminder by email.
Three kinds of event fill the sky's calendar. Eclipses happen when the Sun, the Earth and the Moon line up. Meteor showers peak on the same nights every year, as the Earth crosses old comet dust. Oppositions are when a planet is opposite the Sun, up all night and at its brightest.
